Since attending her first camp in Shoreham, Victoria in January 1991 Janelle has remained a passionate volunteer and supporter of ERC. In the early days of involvement, Janelle volunteered over 40 weeks of time to: support the running of 20 camps; pre and post camp activities; leader skills training and the planning and hosting of many fundraising events from movie nights to black tie balls. Janelle has attended camps and camping activities across Australia and represented Victoria at the first national ERC conference in Sydney.

Ballarat Health Care Services
Aged Care Assistant
Janelle volunteered for over ten years with the aged care facility in Ballarat. Assisting residents with personal care tasks, meal times, outings and many everyday little things that made a difference to their lives. Aged care facilities have been operated by Ballarat Health Services within the Ballarat and Grampians regions for over 150 years. Janelle volunteered time in three different aged care facilities including: Hayley House, Talbot House and Eureka Village which also catered for dementia and cognitive impairment residents.
